Caramel Stuffed Brownies

Fudgey chocolate shells sandwiching a rich caramel center which is studded with pecans. Layered over the top are more pecans and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

This can be served at room temperature, or, if you prefer things a little bit more chewy, try it by cutting these into bite sized pieces, and popping them in the freezer for about 20 minutes. These bites are decadently delightful.

The ingredients are as follows:
Semi sweet chocolate chips, eggs, sugar, butter, flour, salt, cream, honey, vanilla, and pecans.

This item makes a regular appearance on my menu.

Boysenberry Scone

It is SPRING! Which means that it is time for scones...at least in my opinion. Yesterday I had the pleasure to be creative and come up with a new recipe; the result of which appears below.

And here they are for their closeup

And they even looked scrumptious before baking them off!

Uff da! Baby these are one of my new favorite items!

This scone is Boysenberry, Lavender and Earl Grey. It is very springtimey. I will be having these treats available this Friday at Rutiz Family Farm.

Tiramisu Cupcakes

A light vanilla bean genoise (spongecake) cupcake, infused with a Marsala-Coffee syrup, and finished off with a marscapone frosting with a touch of cocoa powder and a chocolate covered espresso bean. It is big enough to serve two, but good luck sharing this baby!

This cupcake was inspired by a romantic evening at a local Italian restaurant where I shared a dessert with someone special. Tiramisu reminds me of our date night every time I make it.

*Note: this cupcake needs refrigeration because of the marscapone frosting, but it will hold up for 2-3 days.

Rocky Road Biscotti

Rocky Road biscotti is one of my favorites to make: Chocolatey crisp/chewy background, loaded with chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, Heath Bars, and pecans. If you don't like biscotti, chances are you'll like this one. (It tends to be not quite as hard as a traditional biscotti)

The package contains 2 biscotti, 9in long, and 3/4 wide. They are sealed in a cellophane bag, so no airflow is present to make them stale or soggy. They are perfect for sending in the mail, because they will stay fresh for at least a month (not that they will stick around that long).

That's the Way the Cookie Crumbles

Cookie Crumbles bag

Sometimes life gives you broken cookies. In my case, it happens quite frequently. To make the best of a "broken" situation, we decided to create an ensemble bag. You get a little assortment of everything, and the plus is that they are in baby pieces, so there aren't that many calories left.

The bag weighs in at 12 oz, and we sell it at $5 a bag. Not bad, huh? So remember the next time life gives you a challenge, that you can always turn it into something else.....Hmmm, now I want to play with lemons.
